New Facility Expands TransPak’s Presence in the Austin Area, Bringing New Jobs and More Support for the Area’s Semiconductor Companies
MANOR, Texas., Jan. 21, 2025 – TransPak, a global leader in logistics, packaging, and crating services, today announced the grand opening of its new 300,000-square-foot campus in Manor, Texas, just outside Austin. TransPak’s Manor facility expands its support of the semiconductor industry, a cornerstone of Austin’s corporate landscape.
The facility brings 75 to 100 new jobs to Manor. The new hires will join TransPak’s 200+ employees currently based there.
Two state-of-the-art buildings, designed with customers and employees in mind, feature temperature-controlled environments, advanced rigging, warehousing, packaging, logistics, and crating capabilities, two spacious employee cafeterias, brand-new lockers, and a mezzanine outlook that provides a bird’s-eye view of the operations. The facility, located 15 minutes from downtown Austin, took three years to complete.
Climate-controlled facilities that maintain consistent temperature, humidity, and air quality are vital to storing, handling, packaging and shipping high-value, fragile semiconductor equipment that can be sensitive to temperature or weather conditions.
