How TransPak Combines Packaging Innovation with Environmental Responsibility
At TransPak, sustainability isn’t just a goal; it’s part of the package. As a global leader in custom packaging and crating, we know that protecting the world’s most valuable equipment means using high-quality wood. But we also know that protecting the planet means giving back to the forests we rely on.
That’s why we’re proud to continue our partnership with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. Since 2020, TransPak has funded the planting of more than 162,000 trees in regions where we source and ship.
In 2024 alone, we supported the planting of 60,000 trees, including:
- 20,000+ in the Southeastern U.S. as part of a longleaf pine restoration project
- Nearly 40,000 in Oregon to help recover areas devastated by wildfires
Forests play a vital role in fighting climate change by absorbing and storing carbon dioxide. Just one mature tree can capture around 22 pounds of CO₂ each year. At TransPak, we view wood not just as a material but as a renewable resource that, when responsibly managed, can support both business and the environment.
“TransPak recognizes the inherent value of wood as the optimal renewable resource,” says Bert Inch, CEO at TransPak. “Our commitment to reforestation through One Tree Planted underscores our dedication to sustainable practices. Together, we’re creating a legacy of abundance for future generations.”
As we celebrate Earth Day 2025, we remain committed to expanding our environmental efforts and embedding sustainability into every level of our supply chain. Whether through crate refurbishment programs, carbon footprint calculators, or reforestation initiatives, we’re working to build a greener future, one crate at a time.
